Sportzfy Play Protect Error & Installation Warning — Quick Fix (Android)

Before you start: Only download the APK from the official Sportzfy site. Temporarily change security settings if needed, then turn them back on.

Sportzfy
  1. Uninstall old versions (if any)
    Settings → Apps → Sportzfy → Uninstall.
  2. Download the latest APK
Save it to your phone (Downloads folder).
  3. Allow installs from your source
Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → choose your browser or file manager → toggle Allow from this source (turn it off again after install).
  4. Start the install
Open the APK (Files/Downloads) → Install.
  5. If you see “Blocked by Play Protect”
Tap More details → Install anyway.
    If there’s no option:
    • Open Google Play Store → profile icon → Play Protect → gear icon → Turn off “Scan apps with Play Protect”.
    • Install the APK, then go back and turn it ON again.
  6. If you get “App not installed”
    • Ensure at least 200–300 MB free storage.
    • Settings → Apps → Package Installer/Android Installer → Storage → Clear cache.
    • Re-download the APK (file may be incomplete) and retry.
  7. Open Sportzfy & grant permissions
Launch the app → allow requested permissions. Optional: exclude from battery optimization for smoother streaming.
  8. Re-enable security
Turn Play Protect scanning back ON and disable Install unknown apps for the browser/file manager you used.

That’s it—Sportzfy should now install and run without Play Protect warnings.
